Website updated
Today, the Briggen Tre Kronor Association’s website has been updated after nearly six months of work! Visually, the difference may not be very noticeable, but if you start browsing through the pages, you’ll notice quite a few changes. The most striking feature is the homepage, where images rotate continuously. At the top right, you can also switch languages! Our website is now available in five languages besides Swedish: English, German, French, Finnish, and Polish. The translations are done using AI. Sometimes technical terms can come out a bit odd, but they can be changed! If you’re bothered by any translation, please let us know via email: foreningen@briggentrekronor.se and we’ll fix it!
There’s quite a long list of reasons why we’ve updated the website. The main reason is that technology is advancing at a very rapid pace. We need to update the site to ensure everything works properly, but also to make it easier to implement updates—for example, regarding the membership registry or booking sailing trips. Another important factor is that we can automate many tasks that previously required a lot of manual labor. For many years, we’ve had international contacts but no information in other languages. Now we’re working to reach beyond Sweden’s “bubble.”
