Yoga Sailing May 28

May 28 @ 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CEST
$245.00

Join the brig Tre Kronor for a day at sea featuring sailing, yoga, and nature experiences.

We set sail and glide silently and smoothly between the islets and skerries of the beautiful archipelago. Out on the bays, yoga takes shape as we connect with the boat and the sea. The deck sways, the wind brushes against our skin, and balance becomes something we explore together.
Throughout the day, sailing and exploring the archipelago are interspersed with yoga sessions and mindfulness. We let the weather and wind set the tone for the day and become a natural part of the experience.

Together with instructors Elif Koman André and Lina Larsson, we practice yoga with the ocean and sailing as our partners. The focus is on inner awareness, balance, stability, flexibility, and trust, rather than on perfect poses. The yoga is accessible to beginners, while experienced practitioners will find a unique and deepening practice thanks to the changing conditions on board. You can read more about Lina and Elif and their yoga further down.

As a guest, you’re warmly welcome to participate in the yoga and sailing as much or as little as you’d like. There are always options to choose from, as well as breaks when you can sit back and simply enjoy the sound of the wind and the movement of the sea. Our dedicated crew will help you get settled, tell you about life on board, and let anyone who wants to help sail the ship.

Good food is an important part of life at sea, and our dedicated chef serves morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon coffee. All meals are vegetarian; please be sure to let us know about any allergies or special dietary needs when you book!

If you have any questions before booking, please see our FAQs about sailing trips:www.briggentrekronor.se/seglingar-aventyr/fragor-svar/

See you on board.

About Yoga Sailing

The idea for Yoga Sailing originated with both Elif and Lina, and after spending time on board last year, they both decided to turn their idea into reality. The concept has evolved through their collaboration and shared experiences. It’s an experience that combines movement, mindfulness, community, and the ocean.

About Elif

For over 20 years, Elif Koman André has immersed herself in various forms of yoga and is trained in Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga. She leads a gentle and tranquil, yet physically engaging and exploratory yoga practice rooted in Hatha Yoga, where strength, flexibility, balance, and inner focus work in harmony. With safe and instructive guidance, both beginners and more experienced yoga practitioners are welcome. On board the Briggen, the rhythm of nature, the movements of the sea, the wind, and the stillness become part of the flow of yoga.

Elif grew up aboard the sailing ship Hulda. The sea and sailing were part of her everyday life, where the movement of the hull, the shifting winds, and the relationship between people, ships, and nature shaped her outlook from an early age. Growing up at sea has given her a natural sense of security on board and a deep understanding of balance and trust in motion. From that experience, the idea of yoga sailing has emerged.

About Lina

Lina Larsson has immersed herself in yoga in recent years and completed several different training programs, most recently a two-year yoga therapy program. Lina teaches with a playful and exploratory approach where everything is welcome and allowed to be. She is part of the team at Yogastudion Urban Om in downtown Stockholm and also teaches classes at Yogastudion Bromma. Her therapeutic classes often include elements such as shaking meditation, therapy balls, and self-massage. These are calm classes where everyone participates at their own pace.

Lina has always loved spending time outdoors in nature, though mostly on land. In her daily life, she’s often out in the woods with her partner. If she’s not out hiking or camping, she’s at the climbing wall. Last fall, Lina led a yoga week on a sailboat in the Greek archipelago, and a new interest was born. When she came into contact with the brig Tre Kronor through her father, the idea soon arose to do the same in her home region of Stockholm. An idea that has now led to this sailing trip.
