Expedition to the Baltic Sea's Secret Island World Visby – Oskarshamn July 6 – 9

Welcome aboard the brig Tre Kronor for a four-day relaxing sailing adventure across the sea and through the archipelago.
After boarding in Visby, we’ll cast off and set course for the mainland, passing all the beautiful yet inaccessible islands along the way. The route to Oskarshamn is lined with beautiful natural areas, such as the Karlsö Islands and the fishing villages on Gotland’s west coast, Öland’s northern tip with the Långe Erik lighthouse, the legendary Blå Jungfrun, and the vast Tjust and Misterhult archipelagos—considered by some to be the most beautiful on the east coast.
We have plenty of time as we sail across the sea, letting the weather and wind determine our course. We lean back and enjoy nature, the company, a good book, or actively participate in the sailing alongside the crew. Gradually, we settle in on board, begin to get to know one another, and find our place in the pleasant rhythm of a sailing ship on its way, where life is small and simple and the outside world slowly fades away.
Depending on the weather and wind, we’ll sail inshore through channels where we’ll find a night harbor, or continue our journey out to sea overnight, letting those who wish to be rocked to sleep by the waves. There’s also the option to try a night watch to see the sunrise at sea. Either way, we’ll spend the evening socializing on board. Maybe we’ll take a dip in the sea before it’s time to turn in. As the trip nears its end, it’s with a touch of sadness that we watch the port of disembarkation approach!
Once we arrive in Oskarshamn, we say goodbye for now and go ashore to enjoy a few days at a different pace. We dare to promise a few wonderful days on board with new friendships, experiences, memories, and perhaps a taste for life at sea.

About Life On Board

“During the day, as a guest, you’re warmly welcome to help sail as much as you like, or sit back and simply enjoy the experience, the company, and the surroundings—perhaps with a good book and a cup of coffee. Our dedicated crew will help you get settled, tell you about life on board, and let anyone who wants to help sail the ship.
Together with other guests and the crew, you’ll form a diverse group, both in age and background. This usually leads to a friendly and cozy atmosphere on board where everyone feels welcome.
Good food is an important part of life at sea, and our talented chef will serve you all your meals—and snacks in between! We promise you won’t be disappointed. Please remember to let us know about any allergies or special dietary needs when booking!
You’ll sleep in a regular bed in our comfortable 2- or 4-berth cabins, which you’ll share with your fellow passengers. On board, you’ll find most of the amenities we’re used to: electrical outlets, a toilet, a shower, laundry facilities, and more.
