Overnight sailing in the Norrtälje archipelago – Stavsnäs, June 23–25
Welcome aboard the brig Tre Kronor for a relaxing three-day sailing vacation through Stockholm’s northern archipelago.
After boarding in beautiful Norrtälje, we cast off and begin our journey south. We sail through the archipelago, sit back and enjoy the scenery, the company, a good book, or actively participate in the sailing alongside the crew. As evening approaches, we anchor in a picturesque natural harbor where we can socialize on board and perhaps enjoy the evening sun.
The next morning, we’ll start with a hearty breakfast before continuing our journey. We still have many miles ahead of us through the archipelago—or perhaps out on the open sea. We’re starting to feel at home on board, have begun to get to know one another, and have settled into the pleasant rhythm of life on a sailing ship, where life is simple and unhurried, and the outside world slowly fades away.
Depending on the weather and wind conditions, we’ll either continue through the beautiful inland waterways to find a new place to spend the night, or head out to sea overnight, giving anyone who’d like to the chance to take a night watch to watch the sunrise at sea or be lulled to sleep by the waves. Either way, we’ll spend the evening socializing on board, and it’s with a touch of sadness that we’ll watch the port of disembarkation draw near!
Once we arrive in Stavsnäs, we’ll say goodbye for now and head ashore after a couple of days spent at a different pace. We’re confident we’ll have some wonderful days on board, filled with new friendships, experiences, memories, and—not least—a desire to come back on board again.
About Life On Board
During the days, as a guest, you are warmly welcome to participate in the sailing as much as you wish, or simply lean back and enjoy the experience, the company, and the surroundings, perhaps with a good book and a cup of coffee. Our dedicated crew will help you settle in, tell you about life on board, and allow anyone who wishes to join in sailing the ship.
Together with other guests and the crew, you will form a diverse group, both in age and background. This usually creates a familiar and pleasant atmosphere on board where everyone feels welcome.
Good food is an important part of life at sea, and our skilled chef will serve you all meals, plus coffee and snacks! We dare to promise that you will not be disappointed. Please remember to inform us of any allergies or special dietary requirements when booking!
You will sleep in a regular bed in our comfortable 2- or 4-berth cabins, shared with your fellow sailors. On board, you'll find most of the amenities we are used to: power outlets, toilets, showers, laundry facilities, etc.
