Folk Music Cruise from Ireland to Bohuslän, Aug. 28

Welcome aboard the brig Tre Kronor for an evening where Bohuslän meets Ireland as we once again host musicians from far away.
We cast off, set sail, and head out of the city, bringing with us good food, good company, and an orchestra that plays folk tunes for us to whistle along to as we step off the gangway on this summer evening.
Markus Berntsson and musicians from the Castro Trio treat us to a lively and swinging concert where Irish reels and jigs meet Bohuslän waltzes. With the accordion, mandolin, and guitar, they perform both well-known Irish melodies and traditional songs from the west coast. The music is warm, rhythmic, and easy to enjoy—with melodies that linger and have the audience humming along.
During the evening, you’re more than welcome to join in the sailing, or simply sit back and enjoy the experience. Our dedicated crew will help you get settled, tell you about life on board, and let anyone who wants to help out with steering the ship.
Good food is an important part of life at sea, and our talented chef serves dinner and coffee. We promise you won’t be disappointed. Please be sure to let us know about any allergies or special dietary needs when you book!
If you have any questions before booking, please see our FAQs about sailing trips: www.briggentrekronor.se/seglingar-aventyr/fragor-svar/
