Crown Princess Victoria sailed with Tre Kronor af Stockholm
Wednesday, August 27 – exactly 20 years to the day after Tre Kronor af Stockholm’s naming and launch – the ship’s godmother, HRH Crown Princess Victoria, joined an anniversary sail with a ceremonial release of the mooring lines below the construction site on Skeppsholmen. After setting sail and turning in front of the Royal Palace in Stockholm, the Crown Princess steered the ship for a good while and enjoyed the sunshine. During the sail, the Crown Princess had plenty of time to chat with the crew, members of the construction team, former staff, and the association’s volunteers.
After mooring at the home port on Kastellholmen, the Crown Princess stayed on board for half an hour beyond the scheduled program time to mingle.
