DESCRIPTION:Welcome aboard the brig Tre Kronor for a two-day relaxing sailing adventure across the sea and through the archipelago. \nAfter boarding in Mariehamn, we’ll cast off and head out to sea, setting course for the Swedish coast and the archipelago port of Stavsnäs. We’ll glide between the islands with the sun in our eyes\, lean back and enjoy nature\, the company\, a good book\, or actively participate in sailing alongside the crew. \nWhen we reach the open sea, we’ll watch the sun set below the horizon as we prepare to continue our long voyage through the night. Anyone who wants to can try standing a night watch, or simply be lulled to sleep by the waves. \nThe next morning, we start with a hearty breakfast as the journey continues. Perhaps someone has been up early to watch the sun rise again. We still have many miles ahead of us, either across the open sea or through the vast Swedish archipelago. On the second day of the voyage, we begin to feel at home on board, get to know one another, and settle into the pleasant rhythm of life on a sailing ship—where life is simple and unhurried, and the outside world slowly fades away. \nDepending on the weather and wind, we may have already reached the Swedish side and can continue our journey among the islets and skerries along one of the beautiful archipelago routes. Or our journey may continue with another day at sea, where anyone who wishes can try steering the ship on their own and help out with the sails. Toward evening, we’ll find a place to anchor for the night in a lovely archipelago cove and spend the evening socializing on board and ashore. It’s with a touch of sadness that we watch the day of disembarkation approach! \nOnce we arrive in Stavsnäs, we disembark and watch the ship sail on, knowing that we’ve shared a real sea voyage together—perhaps the first of many! \nAbout Life Aboard \nDuring the day, as a guest, you’re warmly welcome to participate in the sailing as much as you’d like, or sit back and simply enjoy the experience, the company, and the surroundings—perhaps with a good book and a cup of coffee. Our dedicated crew will help you get settled, tell you about life aboard, and let anyone who wants to help sail the ship. \nTogether with the other guests and the crew, you’ll form a diverse group, both in age and background. This usually creates a warm, family-like atmosphere on board where everyone feels welcome. \nGood food is an important part of life at sea, and our talented chef will serve you all your meals—and coffee breaks! We promise you won’t be disappointed. Remember to let us know about any allergies or special dietary needs when you book! \nYou’ll sleep in a regular bed in our comfortable 2- or 4-berth cabins, which you’ll share with your fellow passengers.
